Settling a newborn changes as they grow. This bundle covers two distinct stages of the first six months, so you have the right item for each before you need it.

Stage One — The Startle Reflex (roughly weeks 0–14)

Newborns startle easily, and the reflex can wake a baby who has only just settled. Stage Two — Settling (from around week 8)

Safe Use — Please Read

Stop swaddling as soon as your baby shows any sign of attempting to roll over. Always place a baby on their back to sleep. The swaddle should be snug across the chest but loose enough around the hips and legs for free movement, to support healthy hip development.

Keep the sleep surface clear: plush toys, loose bedding and battery-powered devices should not be left in a cot, crib or bassinet with a sleeping baby. Use the plush companion only during supervised, settling-down time while your baby is awake, and remove it before your baby is left to sleep. Adult supervision is required at all times.
