The camera attaches to any collar using a built in magnet and saves footage straight to a micro SD card of up to 128GB. It records at 1920x1080 through a 1/4 inch CMOS lens with a 170 degree wide angle view. Files save in AVI format and play back on a computer through common media player software.
The 12 megapixel photo mode grabs still shots whenever video is not what you need. Loop recording runs in 2 to 2.5 hour segments, so the card keeps cycling old footage automatically. Infrared night vision kicks in during low light, letting you see what your pet gets into after dark.
A small screen right on the camera lets you check playback without grabbing a laptop. The waterproof build takes rain, mud, and even a dunk in the pool or lake without a problem. It's meant for pets you own or have permission to monitor, and it runs about 120 minutes per charge.
