Transform Any Room with Soft, Sculptural Overhead Light
This suspended ceiling fixture delivers a gentle, ambient glow through its handcrafted rice paper shade, measuring 11.4 inches wide by 19.7 inches tall. Perfect for dining tables, kitchen islands, or bedroom reading corners, the translucent material diffuses bulb brightness into a soothing wash of light that eliminates harsh shadows. The minimalist silhouette pairs effortlessly with contemporary or mid-century interiors, while the lightweight construction (just 2.2 pounds) makes installation straightforward. Whether you're updating a breakfast nook or creating a focal point above your entryway console, this fixture adds texture and warmth without overwhelming your space.
Why You Need This
- Even, Glare-Free Illumination: Rice paper construction spreads light uniformly across up to 54 square feet, ideal for intimate gatherings or task areas.
- Universal Bulb Compatibility: Accepts standard E26/E27 base bulbs up to 40 watts, so you can choose vintage Edison filament or energy-efficient LED to match your mood.
- Featherweight Installation: At 2.2 pounds, one person can handle mounting and adjusting the fixture without extra hardware or reinforcement.
- Versatile Room Applications: Works beautifully over dining tables, in entryways, beside reading chairs, or clustered in multiples for dramatic effect.
- Low-Maintenance Material: A quick dusting keeps the shade looking fresh; no special cleaners or finishes required.
- Timeless Sculptural Design: The cylindrical profile and natural paper texture complement everything from Scandinavian simplicity to Japanese-inspired aesthetics.
Built for Everyday Comfort
Designed for US homes running on 110–120 volts, this overhead fixture slots seamlessly into your existing electrical setup. The white rice paper shade creates a cocoon of warmth that invites conversation and relaxation, while the metal canopy and cord ensure durable support season after season. Use it to define your dining zone, soften harsh overhead cans in a bedroom, or add a statement piece to a hallway. Because it ships ready to hang and pairs with bulbs you already own, you'll be enjoying softer, more inviting light within minutes of unboxing. Plus, every order includes free shipping across the United States and a 30-day return window, so you can try it risk-free in your own space.
