Fit

One size, adjustable. The strap covers roughly 21.5 to 23.5 in (55–60 cm) of head circumference, which fits most adults. To check yours, run a tape measure around your head just above the ears and across the middle of the forehead.

Materials and craftsmanship

Vegan leather is a coated fabric rather than animal hide. It is animal-free, it wipes clean instead of needing conditioner, and it holds colour more evenly than hide does — but it will not develop the patina real leather does over decades. We would rather tell you that than let you find out. Perforating a coated fabric without weakening it means punching cleanly and sealing each hole — ragged perforations fray outward and the panel opens up within a season.
