The lomaroshop Valet Tray lies completely flat until you snap its four brass corners together — then it becomes a 6-inch tray for keys, a watch and loose change. Flat, it slides into a suitcase; snapped, it turns any hotel nightstand into somewhere you will actually find your things in the morning.
Key Features
- Snaps from flat to tray in four presses — packs flat, works anywhere
- Brass corner studs: the mechanism and the ornament in one
- Stops keys, watch and change migrating across a nightstand or desk
- A genuinely useful gift, which is rarer than it sounds
Specifications
- Materials: Vegan leather, brass corner studs
- Dimensions: 5.9 x 5.9 in (15 x 15 cm) assembled
- Weight: 7 oz (200 g)
- Color: Tan with brass
- Closure: Four snap corners
- Care instructions: Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Brass may be polished or left to patina.
Materials and craftsmanship
Vegan leather is a coated fabric rather than animal hide. It is animal-free, it wipes clean instead of needing conditioner, and it holds colour more evenly than hide does — but it will not develop the patina real leather does over decades. We would rather tell you that than let you find out. The corners are where the whole design lives: each stud has to be set through a reinforced layer, because those four points take every fold and unfold for the life of the tray.
In the box
- One valet tray
How to use
Nightstand, desk, entryway, hotel room. Press the four corners together to form the tray, pop them apart to pack it flat. The brass will darken with handling — polish it back or leave it, both look right.
